Manvel (5-2 overall, 4-1) jumped to a 35-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back.
Owens opened the scoring with a 20-yard dash with 9:08 left in the first period, while rambling in from 52 yards out in the second quarter. Trevion Robertson scooped up a loose Milby fumble and scooted 25 yards to the end zone for the Mavs’ defense, while the special team scores featured Kamryn Alexander’s 41-yard punt return, a 51-yard punt return by Jude Mayon and Eric Hebert’s 92-yard kickoff return.
Quarterback Josh Coltrin also threw TD passes to Justin Valenzuela (20 yards), Hebert (31 yards) and Roland Kimble (10 yards), while Donovan Eaglin (three yards) and Jalen Walthall (18 yards) both collected rushing scores.
Coltrin completed 7 of 8 passes for 79 yards and two TD’s, while Eaglin and Owens gained 63 and 62 yards on the ground, respectively, and Hebert grabbed two receptions for 61 yards and one TD to pace the Mavs on the receiving front.
Manvel compiled 299 yards of total offense and 22 first downs, while limiting Milby to just 50 total yards.
